Somdiam Limited has been incorporated in Uganda since 2011 to make a mark in Africa’s supply chain industry by offering the best in supply chain.
We have grown over the time with over 150 imports per month of assorted food commodities among these are rice, sugar, vegetable cooking oil, biscuits, salt, tomato paste, powered milk, pastas & spaghetti and are well established with professional operations. Consequently, we rank as one of the leading exporters to Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan and are continuously sourcing products which we feel have the potential to impact on the markets.

We employ over 50 staff to professionally handle the operations and are as well boosting and facilitating trade in the supply chain and logistics sector that is to say warehouses, transportation and the tax base.

Future Plans

Agricultural Value Addition
There are plans that are already in motion to establish a rice mill and a beans processing plant in Uganda. The mills will be for processing local produce for food security, food logistics and export.
